Pumpkins! Jack-O-Lanterns!

Whatever you would like to call them. One of my favorite things about Halloween is carving pumpkins. So. Much. Fun. The cleaning part totally sucks, but being able to be creative and create pumpkin faces, it’s a blast. The last few years, I have gotten the Pumpkin Masters carving kits, and would do a few pumpkins from templates (they are very time consuming, but look spectacular afterwards) and would do a few free style (trying to come up with unique faces, one of my favorites was a Phantom of the Opera mask I did). Sadly, I won’t be doing any this year.

[I will see if I can dig up some pictures of previous years’ pumpkins and add them later].

Double, Double, Toil and Trouble

This is another of my favorite Halloween movies. Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen are just the cutest little things. And it’s a really good family movie. So, I am going to sit back and relax and watch it now! If you are a kid at heart, you should definitely check it out.

Movie Description:

Double, Double, Toil and Trouble (1993): Make way for spells, witches, wizards, and adventure! It’s Halloween, the scariest, most fun event of fall. But for Lynn and Kelly Farmer, something scarier could happen. A slump in the family business means the Farmers will lose their home – unless the spirited twins find a way to save it! The trick: Aunt Sophia, the Farmers’ lone hope for a loan, is trapped inside an eerie neverland by her evil witch of a twin, Aunt Agatha. The treat: watching the girls turn the tables on Agatha by snatching her magical moonstone power source! Enjoy more excitement than you can shake a wand at, as the Farmers team up with a carefree hobo and other allies to break the spell on Aunt Sophia.
