It’s the Most Wonderful Time of the Year

Hello December!

While, I’m not a big fan of winter, I absolutely love December, and Christmas.

November wasn’t a very productive month for any writing, and life in general, and neither will December. Between time spent in November decorating and prepping for Black Friday, and watching Christmas movies on Hallmark over and over, I didn’t find much reading (except during lunch or dinner) or writing time. It will be the same for December, with the added time of parties and family time. But, those are the sacrifices that I am willing to make.

But I am going to need to step up my game. My dreams of being a writer get totally sidetracked by being a  book lover. I have such  hard time finding a nice balance.

So, how about those November goals:

  • Write every day. 🙂
  • Enjoy the holiday season! 🙂
  • Read 5 books! 😦 Only got 4 in

It’s November!!

Hello November.

So, I hope you all enjoyed my Blogtober and my selection of horror movies. Of course, there are many, many, many more movies that I could have included, but there just wasn’t enough time in the day to watch them all. And I could have listed them, but I made it a goal and I really wanted to watch them as well.

I plan on doing Blogtober again next year, but a little different. Instead of movies, I was thinking of tales, stories, poems, and books. So, I will definitely have to start prepping that ahead of time. I will also likely still do some movies as well.

So, how did I do on those October goals??

  • Blog everyday – Blogtober is here!! 🙂 I may have been late on posting them though, but I still count it!
  • Pick one writing project and complete it. This is a must! – I have too many I am trying to work on, and am not accomplishing anything. 🙂 I have picked the project I want to work on.

So, how about November goals:

  • Write every day.
  • Enjoy the holiday season!
  • Read 5 books!

Where Has September Gone? / October Goals 2014

Where the heck has September gone to? Feels like the month just started!!

I just updated my Book List for 2014 and am at 48 books for the year. My first goal was to read 50 books (I will succeed!) and the second goal is 100 books (I may fall short on that one). I’m not a fast reader, and when I try to read fast, I feel like I miss a lot of the book. But it is funny how some books I can read in mere days, while others take me weeks.

Alright, let’s check on how I did for my September Goals:

  • Setting up a “school” schedule. What this basically means is that I want to set up times for everything that I want to get done (setting up certain times for writing, reading, watching tv, cleaning, etc). More or less, just getting more organized. / 🙂 & 😦
  • Read 10 books! / 😦 But I got 7!
  • Cut back on the youtube watching (I have become addicted. ADDICTED!!!) / 🙂
  • Write everyday! This is a must! / 🙂
  • And, I am going to blog everyday! / 🙂 I’m giving me the smiley face cuz I was pretty damn close

Labor Day / September Goals 2014

Happy Labor Day!! I hope all you laborers out there are having a fantastic day off (if you get one) and are having a fabulous weekend!! And with Labor Day, we say Goodbye to Summer. 😦

Since I did not have any monthly goals for August, I have no updates. Boy, did the month just fly by. Did get some relaxing and recharging in.

So how about some goals for September:

  • Setting up a “school” schedule. What this basically means is that I want to set up times for everything that I want to get done (setting up certain times for writing, reading, watching tv, cleaning, etc). More or less, just getting more organized.

Monthly Goals August 2014

Updates on July’s Goals:

  2. Finish I of X in my current project 😦
  3. Watch season 9 of “Murder, She Wrote” 🙂
  4. Read 5 books this month. 3 at the minimum 😦 / 🙂

So how about some goals for August?

I am not making any goals. It is pretty much the last month of the summer, so I am going to enjoy it. Many of the weekends are filled, and if I have busy weeks at work again, I don’t want to feel disappointed in things that I goaled and failed at.

Sit back. Relax. Enjoy the rest of the summer.

Goodbye May, Hello June 2014

It’s hard to believe that it is already June! Considering Winter just ended a month ago, and it is finally warm outside.
