Tim Burton

I would love to take a journey through his head.

He’s a master. Every Single Project is an A+

Beetlejuice, Edward Scissorhands, & Frankenweenie

Movie Descriptions:

Beetlejuice (1988): A couple of recently deceased ghosts contract the services of a “bio-exorcist” in order to remove the obnoxious new owners of their house.

Edward Scissorhands (1990): Once upon a time in a castle high on a hill lived an inventor whose greatest creation was named Edward. Although Edward had an irresistible charm, he wasn’t quite perfect. The inventor’s sudden death left him unfinished, with sharp shears of metal for hands. Edward lived alone in the darkness until one day a kind Avon lady took him home to live with her family. So began Edward’s fantastical adventures in a pastel paradise known as Suburbia.

Frankenweenie (1984): Victor Frankenstein is a young boy who creates movies starring his dog, Sparky. After Sparky is hit by a car, Victor learns at school about electrical impulses in muscles and is inspired to bring his pet back to life. He creates elaborate machines which bring down a bolt of lightning that revives the dog. While Victor is pleased, his neighbors are terrified by the animal.

The Nightmare Before Christmas

This one is definitely among my top favorite movies. Anything Tim Burton touches is gold. I love how NBC is not only a Halloween movie, but a Christmas one as well. And I usually keep it with my Christmas movies. “This is Halloween” is an awesome song. Have you seen the youtube video of the Halloween Light Show featuring this song? You can find it here.

Movie Description:

The Nightmare Before Christmas (1993): Can Christmas be saved? Bored with the same old scare-and-scream routine, Jack Skellington, the Pumpkin King of Halloween Town, longs to spread the joy of Christmas. But his merry mission puts Santa in jeopardy and creates a nightmare for good little boys and girls everywhere!

This is Halloween, This is Halloween, Halloween, Halloween, Halloween, Halloween…….
